Club Prana opened its doors in 2000 with much anticipation. Located in Ybor City, Club Prana set the bar and became the hottest five story nightclub in Tampa Bay. Each floor has an individual style and music format.

DON’T COME HERE!!! I went out last night 09-18 to Club Prana to celebrate my friend's birthday and witnessed the most horrific incident ever! A black guy with dreadlocks was with his mixed girlfriend & the owner of the club bumped into the black guy and became highly upset after spilling his drink on the black guy. Instead of coming down from his high horse and admitting he was in the wrong, the owner signaled for the security guards to remove him from the club. Now mind you, the black guy did absolutely nothing wrong, it was the owner's fault!!! Not only did I witness 4 security guards rough up the black guy as they headed to the elevator, but more security pushed the mixed girl down a flight of stairs!!! They used their flashlights to follow them so there is no way they didn't know she was a woman. The black guy was very respectful, calm, and agreed to leave. Before the black guy went into the elevator, he was in perfect health & had no markings or scars on his body. When then elevator finally opened after being paused for a very long time, I saw the 4 body guards & the black guy come out out or breath. The black guy face was bloody & he appeared to be in a lot of pain & out o
Pros: No pros at all. From the drinks to the guards, the entire club is a rip off!
Cons: You will leave bruised, yelled at like a child, & kicked out for absolutely no reason.

I always have a blast at Club Prana. It's usually busy, noisy, and all around a riotous good time. Theme nights are especially fun. Glow parties/Foam parties/Holidays are all prime times to get in.
Pros: Don't like the song? Move up a floor.
Hands down I would have to say Club Prana is one of the best party spots in Ybor! The only place that offers five different floors of music and fun.
Pros: Friday & Saturdays all five levels are open providing a wide selection of music styles such as top 40, EDM, hip-hop, latin, and reggae.
Cons: Sometimes it gets way too packed.
I have to been to Club Prana quite a few times. Every time I go, I do enjoy myself. I have met some great people, both staff and customers. There are 5 levels of awesomeness. I always enjoy the roof top. You can dance the night away right under the stars. Also, you have a view down 7th Ave. from the rooftop. The staff is so professional but yet so friendly. I would recommend Club Prana to all my friends.

Club Prana is one of the best night clubs in Tampa for many reasons. The different genres of music on all 5 floors appeals to every different crowd. The drink specials are convenient for the ladies and I am always handed my drinks with a smile by the bartenders. Whenever I go to Prana I always know it is going to be a fun night.
Club Prana is definitely the spot in Ybor to see and be seen. This club consists of 5 floors with 5 bars, all at the cost of one cover, $10! How can you beat that?!? The drink prices are a little more pricey than your average Ybor dive bar($9 for a Stoli Tonic), but it's understandable for a nightclub with the hottest bartenders in the bay (guys too!!). The club is open on Wednesdays and Thursdays, but with only one or two floors, and with the crowd on these nights, there is more of a lounge atmosphere. Fridays and Saturdays are a whole other animal! On these nights the club is packed, wall to wall, floor to floor. Some people prefer to wait in the stairwells before the 4th and 5th floors open, my preference is to drink and party on the first and/or second floors then check out the rest around 1am. As a regular, I love this club because it's a different experience everytime!
